The Sacral Chakra is located about two inches below the navel and corresponds with our ovaries or testicles. It symbolizes desire, pleasure, reproduction, creativity, intimacy and/or connection to others. It also assists in our will to feel and to be emotional. When the Sacral Chakra is out of balance, you may notice that your reproductive organs, bladder, large and small intestines, and/or appendix have been affected. This can lead to sex repression, inhibitions, control issues, holding on to old relationships, kidney and spleen disorders, the feeling of being unfulfilled, difficulty recovering from abuse, fertility and sexual issues.
