What exactly is Reiki?
“Rei” means universal. “Ki” means life force or life energy. So, Reiki means universal life force or universal life energy. It is an ancient Japanese modality of energy work that promotes relaxation, healing, overall wellness, and growth in every facet of life.

Nijeria is an Advanced Reiki Practitioner. She has obtained her First Degree, Second Degree and Third Degree (Part A) certification through the Reiki Sanctuary of Northern Virginia under Certified Reiki Master Teacher, Yvonne Gleason.
Nijeria is trained in the Usai modality of Reiki and is able to provide in-person and distance Reiki healing, basic Animal Reiki Healing, as well as space and Aura Cleansing. She is also well versed in Mindfulness Meditation which not only enhances her practice but allows her to provide customized Guided Meditations.

Certified Reiki Master Teacher
Ronda Thornton is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher, trained under the intuitive guidance and lineage of Reiki Master Practitioner and healer, Omatee Sims. With a grounded presence and intuitive touch, Ronda channels universal life force energy to support physical, emotional, and energetic healing.
She is certified to offer both in-person and distance Reiki, blending traditional Usai methods with compassionate healing touch. Ronda’s practice is rooted in intention, attunement, and deep respect for the sacredness of each individual’s healing journey.
How does Reiki work?
Reiki is universal energy that comes from a Source or Higher Power through the practitioner by "laying hands" on or above the recipient. Energy flows through the practitioner onto and into the recipient to balance his/her/their chakras thus promoting a healing effect.
What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki is non-invasive, gentle, and never harmful. It can shift a recipient’s energy to a more uplifting state allowing for positive change in daily life. Reiki allows for a deepening of the loving connection between self and a higher power. It can be incorporated into daily living and intends nothing but the highest best outcome for the recipient.
What can I expect after the session?
Even though Reiki is a non-invasive treatment, some people experiences headaches, fatigue, weakness or nausea following treatment.

Absolutely! If you find yourself in need of more sessions, simply purchase the session again. I also put recommendations for extra or more advanced Reiki session in your treatments notes. I don't recommend purchasing more than one session until AFTER your initial session.

Clients should advise their Primary Care Physician and/or Mental Health Professional before treatment if there are any concerns or risks. The methods utilized by Sexhale Coaching do not guarantee results. If you are found to be ineligible for treatment, you will be provided with a referral to the appropriate provider(s).

Reiki is NOT a religion, it is a practice. When Nijeria sets her intention before starting her scan, she calls upon many Higher Powers. You can specify what Higher Power you'd like for her to call upon, if needed in the intake paperwork. We also recommend doing your own research and speaking with a spiritual leader in your religious practice regarding whether Reiki is right for you.
